Notes. Written from our own data. Recomputed every month.
Three notes built from DEBYKO's own history: funding rates across exchanges, funding over 8 h against 1 h, and how often market data is stale. A job recomputes each one on the first of the month; every number on them comes from that run.
Three notes.
Funding rate comparison across 16 exchanges
A funding rate comparison across exchanges from DEBYKO's own history over the 19 days to 2026-10-09: 16 venues, 5 perpetuals (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE). Each rate is the venue's own, restated over 8 hours from the listing's interval in the registry. Hyperliquid had the highest rate most often (250 of the 675 instants it was compared at), Kraken Futures the lowest (238 of 677).
Funding rate 8h vs 1h: why the same number differs
Funding rate 8h vs 1h: every venue publishes the rate for its own interval, so the same number is not the same rate. Of the 525 perpetual listings DEBYKO collects, 203 settle every hour, 42 every 4 hours, 218 every 8 hours and 62 accrue continuously with a rate per period.
How often is exchange data stale? What we measured
How often is exchange market data stale? DEBYKO sampled every collected listing 4 times a day, 19 days to 2026-10-09: 88,980 values of ticker, mark, funding, open interest and 24 h stats on 19 venues: 93.0% current, 3.2% stale, 3.6% halted, 0.2% missing. Halted is counted apart from stale: the API answers both as stale, but a halted value is not late, the venue said it does not trade the listing.
